Although a small country town, Mudgee has a lot of tourist attractions and many great events throughout the year. Mudgee is a historic town with many old buildings still standing from the late 1800’s. There are great Photographic opportunities in Mudgee, due to these old buildings and also areas
Among the forty something wineries in Mudgee Region, there are many that exhibit local Art, Quilts, Music and of course, the local produce. There are an immense number of gallery settings during the year. Between Galleries, Wineries and Cafés, there are many exhibits to see.
There are other Mudgee Events also. Ulysees, Car Clubs and many other member based Associations have their events and meetings in Mudgee.
Musicians around the country make their way to Mudgee every year for the annual Day on the Green event.
